I would love to enter your show with 3 horses, however, do not agree with your philosophy as to why it is necessary for coggins testing. You are a local schooling show drawing horses from the immediate area only. Not a national show drawing horses from across the country. This is the only show I would be going to that requires this test, thus making the cost of this one show too exorbitant. Too bad; you would have 3 more horses doing 2 tests each at Training, Level 1 and Level 2… or 3 if offered. Thanks anyway

  2. I agree with Gwyneth. Iwould love to attend this show but I dont have any other shows that require coggins so I have ruled this show out of my options. I would love to attend this show so please let me know if this will be changed.

    • Hi Julie,

We have discussed at length the option of removing coggins but we will not be doing that at this time. As this is a busy facility with many horses coming in and out for lessons and training, the facility vet has recommended all horses entering and leaving the property be vaccinated and have a coggins test done. This is to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and competitors to come to Winters End.

      Thank you for your interest.

Coggins tests are pretty standard. They are required for all the competitions we go to so certainly not a problem for us.
